The Cycling League of India is designed as a franchise based professional cycling league, similar to other major sports leagues.

- Eight city or region based franchises
- Each team will have 10 cyclists
Teams will include,
- 2 international cyclists
- 2 junior cyclists
- Remaining professional riders from India
- Focus on building long-term cycling talent

The league will follow a structured competition format designed to keep races exciting and competitive.
- Race Formats Included
- Criterium races (short circuit road races)
- Team time trials
- Mass start races
The competition will take place in three stages, leading up to a grand finale.
