The Andaman and Nicobar Islands has make the Guinness World record by unfurling the world’s largest underwater national flag at the Radhanagar Beach. On 3rd May, 2026 this event was take place at the Swaraj Dweep in the Havelock Island. This achievement showcased the commendable coordination between the agencies and divers. The size of the Indian flag is around 60 by 40 metres and the Tricolour was deployed under the sea and earned the official recognition from Guinness World Records.

The Andaman and Nicobar Islands administration successfully set the new Guinness World Record by unfurling the largest underwater national flag of India at Radhanagar Beach.
This massive Indian Tricolour is measuring 60 x 40 metres was carefully deployed underwater in the proper coordinated operation.
The event was officially confirmed by a Guinness representative and marks a proud moment for the nation.

The underwater operation required the accurate planning and teamwork and it involves more than 200 trained divers.
