Eligibility Criteria

• To qualify for the Jharkhand Mukhyamantri Maiya Samman Yojana, applicants must meet the following conditions:
• Must be a female.
• Must be a permanent resident of Jharkhand.
• Age should be between 21 and 49 years.

Exclusions From the Scheme

• Certain individuals are not eligible to receive the scheme’s benefits.
• Applicant or her husband employed in any of the following sectors,
• Central/State Government
• Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs)
• Local Bodies, Urban Bodies, Statutory Bodies
• Government-aided educational institutions
• Individuals receiving pension/family pension after retirement
• Family members who are current or former MPs/MLAs
• Income tax-paying families
• Beneficiaries of other social security pension schemes run by the Women, Child Development &
• Social Security Department
• Applicants with an EPF (Employees’ Provident Fund) account
