The 2025 World Air Quality Report released by IQAir has revealed that Loni recorded the alarming annual average PM2.5 concentration of 112.5 µg/m³.
This level is more than 22 times higher than the WHO’s recommended safe limit and with this level it placing residents at extreme health risk.
PM2.5 refers to the fine particulate matter that is small enough to penetrate the deep into the lungs and also they can enter the bloodstream.
