NewSpace India Limited partners with Tata Play to commission GSAT-24

Enhanced Broadcasting Landscape: Unleashing the Power of GSAT-24

  • The inclusion of GSAT-24 satellite will increase the bandwidth of Tata Play to deliver an even sharper picture and superior sound quality to its users.
  • This strategic collaboration also empowers Tata Play to accommodate a staggering 50 percent more channels.
  • At present, Tata Play has 600 channels. However, with the integration of the ISRO satellite, its capacity will expand to accommodate 900 channels, bringing substantial benefits to the wider public.
  • This move will effectively establish Tata Play as the premier satellite bandwidth provider among all Direct-to-Home (DTH) platforms in India.
