R Sreerekha to become Kerala’s first woman DGP

R Sreerekha will be the first woman Director General of Police in Kerala. The Kerala government appointed her as Fire and Rescue Services DGP. She is a 1987 batch officer, she is also the first woman IPS officer of Kerala. Presently an Additional Director General of Police, she currently heads the Prisons and Correctional Services Department.
