Renowned industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata, Chairman Emeritus of the Tata Group, was honored with the esteemed KISS Humanitarian Award 2021 at a ceremony held at his Mumbai residence. The award, initiated in 2008 by Achyuta Samanta, recognizes individuals and organizations epitomizing humanitarian efforts globally.
Award Ceremony Highlights
The private ceremony, attended by Tata Group chairman N. Chandrasekaran and Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej, among others, was orchestrated due to Tata’s health considerations. Founder of KIIT and KISS, Achyuta Samanta, presented the award to Tata, who graciously accepted it following a personal request from Samanta.
