RBI Relocates Andhra Pradesh Regional Office to Vijayawada

The new office was inaugurated on June 16, 2025, by Deputy Governor T. Rabi Sankar, marking a significant step in enhancing the central bank’s operational effectiveness and outreach in the state.

Currency Management

• Although the regional office has been moved to Vijayawada, currency management for Andhra Pradesh will continue to be handled by the RBI’s Hyderabad office.
