- Sardar Ramesh Singh Arora was born in Nankana Sahib and holds a postgraduate degree in entrepreneurship and SME management.

- He was re-elected as MPA from Narowal, his hometown and the location of Gurdwara Sri Kartarpur Sahib, Guru Nanak’s final resting place.
