Last month, I celebrated my birthday. There was cake, wishes, and the usual cheer, but the moment that will stay with me forever wasn’t in the boardroom or even during the big celebrations.
It was during a simple lunch with five of our unsung heroes. Five incredible humans who rarely feature in photographs, never take the mic on stage, and yet… are the beating heart of Adda Education.
Meet Krishna, Ranjit, Somojit, Sovik, and Bipat – our facility managers, our office lifeline, our silent warriors.
Why the most important people aren’t always in the boardroom?
Leadership books often glorify strategy meetings, investor pitches, or visionary talks. But the truth is: a company is not just built by its founders and executives. It is built brick by brick, by the people who keep the lights on, the celebrations warm, and the culture alive.
These five men do just that. They:

Krishna said something that shook me: “Sir, sometimes I prefer staying at the office instead of my room… the office feels more alive, more like home.”
Culture isn’t strategy decks, it’s lived experience
A company’s culture doesn’t exist in board presentations. It exists in everyday interactions, in how people feel when they walk into the workplace, and in whether they truly feel at home.
We often say people are our greatest asset, but do we really mean it?
Do we value every single role equally? Do we build workplaces where people feel proud to belong? Do we celebrate the ones who don’t sit in corner offices, but without whom the office wouldn’t even run?
