Uttarakhand Unveils ₹1.01 Lakh Crore Budget, Prioritizing Infra and Welfare

The Uttarakhand government, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, has unveiled a ₹1,01,175.33 crore budget for the financial year 2025-26. Presented by Finance Minister Prem Chandra Aggarwal in the State Assembly in Dehradun, the budget prioritizes infrastructure, welfare, and economic growth while ensuring fiscal stability. The financial blueprint follows the ‘GYAN’ model (Gareeb, Yuva, Anndata, and Naari), with a special focus on the poor, youth, farmers, and women. Key sectors such as agriculture, industry, energy, roads, connectivity, tourism, Ayush, and social security receive major allocations, aiming to boost development across the state.
