According to the BrandFinance Energy 100-2025 report, the global oil and gas industry continues to navigate a complex mix of challenges driven by economic and geopolitical uncertainty. As of 2025, the world’s energy brands enjoy a total brand value of $688.6 billion. Globally, Shell, a UK-based company, has maintained top position in the last at the last 6 years with the brand value of $45.4 billion, as per the report released in August.
Two Middle East brands also featured on the list: Saudi-based Aramco, with the value of US$41.7 billion, has been ranked No.2 for the sixth consecutive year, while the UAE’s ADNOC, witnessing an increase in value up 25 per cent to US$19 billion, rose to rank No.6 globally, overtaking BP and TotalEnergies.
