List of Man of The Match From 2008-2026
Yusuf Pathan – 2008
In the inaugural edition of IPL, Yusuf Pathan delivered the sensational all-round performance for Rajasthan Royals against the Chennai Super Kings.
He smashed the 56 runs from 39 balls and also picked up 3 wickets for 22 runs and help Rajasthan to lift the first ever IPL trophy.
Anil Kumble – 2009
In the 2009 final, Anil Kumble had produced a remarkable bowling spell of 4/16 for the Royal Challengers Bengaluru against Deccan Chargers.
But RCB lost the match, Kumble’s exceptional performance has earned him the Player of the Match award.
Suresh Raina – 2010.
Suresh Raina played the crucial role for the Chennai Super Kings maiden IPL title win in year 2010.
He scored an unbeaten 57 off 35 balls and also claimed the wicket against Mumbai Indians in the final.
Murali Vijay – 2011
In the year 2011 IPL Final, Murali Vijay hammered 95 runs from just 52 deliveries against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Manvinder Bisla – 2012
As Chennai Super Kings was chasing their third consecutive IPL title against Kolkata Knight Riders in 2012.
But Kolkata’s Manvinder Bisla has different plan and he scored 89 runs from 48 balls and won the title for Kolkata’s first title.
Kieron Pollard – 2013
In the 2013 final Mumbai Indians chasing their first title, Kieron Pollard played the crucial knock in final.
He smashed unbeaten 60 runs in just 32 balls and also took the one wicket to help Mumbai’s first title in IPL.
Manish Pandey – 2014
In 2104, After Punjab gave the huge target of 200 with the courtesy of Wriddhiman Saha’s century.
Kolkata’s team need iconic performance and Pandey played fantastic knock of 94 and helped KKR to lift thier second title.
Rohit Sharma – 2014
Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma was also named Player of the Match in the 2015 final.
His rapid 50 in just 26 balls proved decisive factor against Chennai Super Kings.
Ben Cutting – 2016
In the 2016, Royal Challengers Bengaluru was unbeatable but Australia’s and Sunrisers Ben Cutting has different plans.
He smashed the 39 runs in 15 deliveries and also picked up two wickets and with this Hyderabad was crowned champion that year.
Krunal Pandya – 2017
In the nail bitter final of 2017 Krunal Pandya played the crucial innings of 47 runs on a difficult batting surface.
His contribution helped the Mumbai Indians to win the game by just1 run margin and seal the title against the Rising Pune Super Giants.
Shane Watson – 2018
Final of 2018 is remembered for the Shane Watson’s outstanding unbeaten century.
The Chennai Super Kings star smashed the 117 not out from 57 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad and produced the one of the greatest knocks in IPL final history.
Jasprit Bumrah – 2019
Mumbai Indians have added another title in their kitty in 2019 with the Jasprit Bumrah played the key role.
His figures of 2/14 in 4 overs against the Chennai Super Kings helped Mumbai to defend modest total in a close final.
Trent Boult – 2020
In a covid year final, Trent Boult with his opening spell has mentally finished the game for Delhi Capitals.
He claimed 3 wickets and helped Mumbai to lift their fifth tital.
Faf du Plessis – 2021
South African star Faf du Plessis was the standout performer in the 2021 final which was held in Dubai.
The opening batmen scored the 86 runs from 59 balls to guide the Chennai Super Kings to victory over the Kolkata Knight Riders.
Hardik Pandya – 2022
Gujarat Titans have lifted the first trophy in their first season.

Devon Conway – 2023
In the rain affected 2023 IPL final which stretched across multiple days and eventually produced another thrilling final.

Mitchell Starc – 2024
After his return to the IPL, Mitchell Starc justified his reputation with the match-winning spell in the 2024 final.
