Union Home Minister of India Shri. Amit Shah inaugurated 2 days National Security Strategies Conference 2024 in the capital of India at New Delhi. This conference will hold talks on various aspects of security and its challenges.
Roadmap
This conference will discuss different solutions to emerging national security challenges that will be chalked out with the top police leadership of states, UTs (Union Territories), CAPFs (Central Armed Protection Forces), and CPOs (Central Police Organization).
Objective
The Objective of the National Security Strategy Conference is to find Solutions to major national security challenges through discussion amongst a unique mix of senior police leadership managing national security challenges, young police officers working at the cutting-edge level, and domain experts of personalized fields.

- Heads of CAPFs(Central Armed Protection Forces) and CPOs(Central Police Organization)

- Over 750 officers are participating in the conference from all over India and also this conference is held in hybrid format combining physical and virtual mode.
Dashboard will be launch
In order to implement the decisions taken during the annual DGsP/IGsP Conference (Director General of Police/Inspector General of Police), 2020 , Union Home Minister launched the DGsP/IGsP Conference Recommendations’ Dashboard which is developed by the NCRB (National Crime Records Bureau).
General Information
- Under the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), many police department and security departments come like,
- Central Armed Police Forces such as CISF(Central Industrial Security Force), BSF(Border Security Force), CRPF(Central Reserve Protection Force), etc.
- Also the Department of Internal Security, States, Home, Border Management fall under MHA, and its home department duty is to look out security of India.
