Appasaheb Dharmadhikari, who was previously awarded the Padma Shri in 2017, has been chosen to receive the esteemed ‘Maharashtra Bhushan Award’ in 2022. The award comes with a medal, a citation, and a cash prize of Rs. 25 lakh. Interestingly, his father, the late Dr. Narayan Vishnu Dharmadhikari, also known as Nanasaheb Dharmadhikari, was honoured with the same award in 2008 for his work as a preacher and reformer.

About the Appasaheb Dharmadhikari
