A Loss to the Nation

The Defence Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of General Rawat, emphasizing that his dedication to the country remained steadfast until the end. Singh highlighted the significance of General Rawat’s role as the first CDS, noting it as a major reform in the military history of India. He said that this position showed the government’s dedication to strengthening the Armed Forces.

Honouring the Soldiers

He praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for leading efforts to recognize the bravery of Indian soldiers. The Defence Minister also talked about the government’s work in providing advanced weapons to the Armed Forces and building the National War Memorial in New Delhi.

Inspiring the Young
