On 3rd of June senior Congress leader the Chief Minister designate DK Shivakumar took oath as the 18th Chief Minister of Karnataka. Along side with him G Parameshwara taken the oath as the Deputy Chief Minister of state. The swearing in ceremony held at the Lok Bhavan, Bengaluru and alongside with CM and Deputy CM 13 ministers were inducted in the new Cabinet.
DK Shivakumar Sworn In as 18th Chief Minister
Congress leader D K Shivakumar officially took the oath as the Karnataka’s 18th Chief Minister at around 4 PM in Lok Bhavan, Bengaluru. The oath of office and secrecy was administered by Thaawarchand Gehlot at the Lok Bhavan Glass House.
He replaced the outgoing CM Siddaramaiah because of the five year split formula decided by the party as the chief ministers of Karnataka.
G Parameshwara Deputy Chief Minister
G Parameshwara also sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of the State of Karnataka. This is not the first time Parameshwara will serve as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state.
