Harmanpreet Kaur Becomes First Cricketer in History to Play 200 T20 Internationals

Indian Captain Harmanpreet Kaur has achieved the historic milestone as she became the first player in the history of the cricket whether it’s men’s or women’s to feature in 200 T20s Internationals. She has achieved this milestone against the South Africa in a ongoing Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in Old Trafford, Manchester.

Historic Milestone for World Cricket

With her appearance against the South Africa, Harmanpreet has surpassed every male and female cricketer to become the first player ever to reach the landmark of 200 T20I matches.

Before the match, Harmanpreet was honored by the India head coach Amol Muzumdar and the vice-captain Smriti Mandhana, who presented her with the special jersey and commemorative cap bearing the number “200.”
