India and Saint Christopher & Nevis have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the field of sports. The agreement was formalized by Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, India’s Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, and Dr. Denzil Douglas, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Saint Christopher & Nevis. This MoU outlines several key areas of collaboration aimed at improving sports infrastructure, training, and management between the two nations.

Athlete and Team Development
- Training and competition for athletes and athletic teams.
- Technical assistance and training for coaches.
Exchange Programs
- Visits and exchanges for sports leaders, officials, administrators, professionals, and support personnel.
- Youth and junior exchanges in sports disciplines such as badminton, shooting, wrestling, kabaddi, and athletics.
Sports Science and Education
- Training and exchange programs for sports sciences personnel.
- Development assistance in sports sciences and coach education.
- Curriculum development and sports education.
- Sports management and infrastructure development.
Research and Technology
- Exchange of technology for sports infrastructure and program development.
- Collaboration in sports research and development, including training and anti-doping programs.
Physical Education and Fitness
- Joint programs in physical education and fitness development between universities and physical education institutes of both countries.
