With the Indian Air Force rolling out the process to phase out the remaining three squadrons of the aircraft. On the location of Indian Air Force day the chief of air staff air chief Marshal V R Chaudhary stated that indigenously developed Tejas Mark 1A aircraft will be replaced with MiG 21st from 2025 onwards.
