The Khelo India Para Games (KIPG) 2025 is set to take place in New Delhi from March 20-27, bringing together 1,230 para athletes, including top performers from the 2024 Paris Paralympics and 2022 Asian Para Games. Announced by Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, this second edition of KIPG aims to further promote para sports in India. The event will feature six major disciplines and will be hosted at premier sports venues across the capital.

Paris Paralympics Success
- India won a record 29 medals, including 7 golds.
- 25 Khelo India athletes were part of the 84-member Indian contingent.
- Five Khelo India athletes won medals at Paris 2024.
Government Support for Para Sports
- 52 para athletes are part of the Target Olympic Podium Scheme (TOPS) core group for the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics.
- The government emphasizes para sports as a priority area for national development.
