Ranji Trophy 2022-23
Saurashtra won the Elite Group title, defeating Bengal by nine wickets in the final at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. This was Saurashtra’s second Ranji Trophy championship title. Arpit Vasavada was declared the Player of the Tournament, while Jaydev Unadkat was adjudged the Player of the Final.
WPL 2023 final
The WPL 2023 final was a thrilling match between the Mumbai Indians and the Delhi Capitals, held on March 26, 2023, at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Delhi Capitals, after winning the toss, chose to bat first. Smriti Mandhana top-scored for them with 43 runs, and the team set a target of 132 runs for Mumbai Indians to chase. This win marked Mumbai Indians’ first-ever WPL title, making them the inaugural champions of the tournament. Their captain, Harmanpreet Kaur, lifted the trophy amidst loud cheers from the crowd.

Karnataka won the most recent edition of the Santosh Trophy in 2023, defeating Services in the final. This was their 5th title in the tournament’s history. The Santosh Trophy is a prestigious football competition in India, with a rich history dating back to 1941. The National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy, also known as the FIFA Santosh Trophy, is an inter-state football tournament contested by state associations and government institutions under the All India Football Federation (AIFF).

Men’s Singles: Daniil Medvedev defeated Holger Rune in the final, 7–5, 7–5. This was Medvedev’s first title on clay and his sixth career Masters 1000 title. Women’s Singles: Elena Rybakina defeated Jelena Ostapenko in the final, 6–2, 6–4. This was Rybakina’s fifth WTA singles title and her second of the year.
