In a significant step to bolster entrepreneurship in India’s Northeast, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Shillong has partnered with the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI). Through its IIM Shillong Foundation for Incubation and Enterprise (IIMSFIE), this collaboration introduces a structured entrepreneurship training and incubation programme.
Key Programme Highlights
- Skill to Enterprise Model (STEM): This model aims to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with skills, knowledge, and mentorship essential for sustainable business creation.
- 18-Month Training: Targeting 30 selected participants, the programme includes classroom learning, hands-on experience, and extensive incubation support.
