In 2010, legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar, playing for Mumbai Indians, scored 618 runs in 15 games to claim the coveted prize. The West Indies’ Chris Gayle then became the first player to win consecutive Orange Caps in 2011 and 2012, scoring 608 runs in IPL 2011 and 733 runs in 15 matches in IPL 2012 for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
