Two-time Olympic medalist Lalit Kumar Upadhyay, one of India’s most dynamic forwards, has announced his retirement from international hockey. The 31-year-old, who made significant contributions to India’s success on the global stage, made the announcement shortly after India concluded their FIH Pro League campaign with a 4-3 win over Belgium on June 22, 2025.
