Melie Kerr the captain of the New Zealand women team has been named the ICC Women’s Player of the Month for March 2026. She won this award for the third time with his performance. Her incredible performances with the both bat and ball played the crucial role in the New Zealand successful series against Zimbabwe and South Africa.

Kerr has delivered the record-breaking bowling performance in the ODI series which was played against Zimbabwe.
She have taken the 16 wickets in just three matches and which includes the her career-best figures of 7/34.
Alongside with her bowling she have contributed with 140 runs and showcased her all round skills.
Outstanding T20I Series Against South Africa
She have continued her form and scored 276 runs in the T20I series against South Africa which have helped New Zealand secure the 4-1 series victory.
She has also achieved the remarkable milestone with 11 consecutive scores of 30+ and highlights her consistency in the shortest format.
World’s Top All-Rounder
For her exceptional performance she is now leading to the ICC Women’s T20I all-rounder at top position.
Also the leadership change from she taken the captaincy over the legend Sophie Divine has further strengthened the team performance.
