Neymar Announces Retirement from International Soccer
After Brazil’s exit from the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Neymar announced he would no longer play for the Brazil national team any longer.
With emotions running high right after the match, the 34-year-old said of his career on an international level:
“I tried. I tried. I started here at MetLife Stadium, and I’m finishing here. It’s over.”
