Rajendra Arlekar, born on April 23, 1954, is an Indian politician currently holding the position of the 29th Governor of Bihar. Before this role, he served as the 21st Governor of Himachal Pradesh, making history as the first individual from Goa to be appointed as the Governor of Himachal Pradesh. Before his gubernatorial roles, Arlekar was a Cabinet Minister in the Government of Goa and had also served as the Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly. He is affiliated with the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
