On 14 November 2024, the organizing partners of World Migratory Bird Day (CMS, AEWA, EFTA, and EAAFP) officially announced the 2025 theme, calling for urgent global action to create safer, more sustainable urban spaces for migratory birds. The announcement highlights the dual celebration dates for 2025: 10 May and 11 October, aligning with migration peaks in the Northern and Southern Hemispheres.
