On the eve of the New Year, Raksha Mantri Shri Rajnath Singh chaired a meeting with all Secretaries of the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to assess the progress of ongoing schemes, projects, and reforms. The meeting concluded with a unanimous decision to designate 2025 as the ‘Year of Reforms’, aimed at transforming the Armed Forces into a technologically advanced, combat-ready force capable of conducting integrated multi-domain operations. The initiative seeks to modernize India’s defence infrastructure while fostering efficiency, innovation, and collaboration across stakeholders.
