The 11th Seatrade Maritime Logistics Middle East (SMLME) conference commenced on May 6, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, attracting top maritime leaders and policymakers from across the globe. The event was inaugurated by senior UAE officials and featured major announcements, including the Indian Register of Shipping’s (IRS) launch of a new office in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, marking 25 years in the UAE and 50 years globally.
