Honorable Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi chaired the 51st PRAGATI meeting and it focused on to accelerating the infrastructure development, clean energy expansion, urban sanitation and water security projects across the India. In the review meeting, PM assessed the major projects worth nearly to the ₹30,000 crore across railways, power, and road sectors across nine states.
What is PRAGATI?
PRAGATI stands for the Pro Active Governance and Timely Implementation.
It is an ICT enabled with the multi-modal platform launched by the Government of India to improve the coordination between the Centre and States for faster implementation of projects and schemes.

Rooftop Solar Push in Mission Mode
The major focus of the meeting was the expansion of rooftop solar energy in urban India.
The Prime Minister has also emphasized that rooftop solar adoption should be accelerated in the,

The Cabinet Secretary informed that the system of monthly reviews of social sector schemes at the state level has now been operationalized.
The first scheme selected for regular review is Swachh Bharat Mission.
