Kaveh Madani director of the United Nations University Institute for Water, Environment and Health (UNU-INWEH) has been awarded the Stockholm Water Prize 2026. The decision annouced at UNESCO headquarters in Paris ahead of World Water Day. At the age 44 he is the youngest recipient and the first UN official to receive the honor.
