Bank of Baroda have partnered with Reliance Jio to bring the mobile banking services to feature phone users. This initiative introduces the ‘bob World Lite’ app and it will be available on the JioPhone devices. This will be allowing millions of users to access the essential banking services without needing the smartphone. This also move aims to bridge the digital divide and to expand financial access across India.

The newly launched ‘bob World Lite’ app is specially designed for the feature phones and which will make the digital banking simple and accessible even on the basic devices.
The app will also debut on the JioPhone Prima 4G and it also mark the significant innovation in the India’s digital banking space.
It uses the lightweight and low bandwidth design which ensures the smooth performance even with the limited internet connectivity.
This initiative is considered as the industry-first step and will bring the advanced banking features to affordable mobile devices.

- UPI-based Scan & Pay and the money transfers
