Bharatiya Janata Party has unveiled its new national team under the leadership of BJP president, Nitin Nabin with an extensive organizational restructuring plan announced on August 17, 2026. The national team will consist of 13 national vice presidents, eight national general secretaries and 16 national secretaries. Union Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal has been chosen as the national treasurer for BJP. Rajesh Mangal will be serving as national joint treasurer. These newly structured organization consists of many senior leaders, former chief ministers, Union ministers and state level leaders, which gives BJP representation in various parts of the country.
Piyush Goyal appointed National Treasurer
Piyush Goyal, senior leader of BJP and Union Commerce minister has been appointed as the new national treasurer of BJP. Rajesh Mangal has been appointed as national joint treasurer.
BL Santhosh continues to be the National General Secretary (Organization). Shivprakash and Saudan Singh have been appointed as National Joint General Secretaries (Organization).
13 National Vice-Presidents of BJP
The Bharatiya Janata Party has chosen 13 national vice-presidents, who include some prominent politicians.

These appointments offer the party representation from leaders of Rajasthan, Uttarakhand, Delhi, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Maharashtra, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and West Bengal.

The BJP has named eight national general secretaries in its new organisational structure.

Former Union minister Smriti Irani and former Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb are some of the prominent leaders that have been assigned the role of national general secretary.

The BJP has also appointed 16 national secretaries. These include,

Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Sandeep Pathak has also been appointed as a member of the new national secretaries team.
Some Other Important Organisational Appointments
The BJP has made various other organisational appointments as part of the organisational restructuring process.
Tarun Chugh has been appointed as the in-charge of the central office, while Mahendra Pandey will act as the central office secretary.
Sambit Patra has been appointed as the party’s North-East coordinator, and Rajiv Babbar will be the North-East joint coordinator.
Vishnu Datt Sharma will coordinate all the party cells, with joint coordinators being Rituraj Sinha and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.

In addition to this, the BJP has also chosen presidents of seven different morchas of the organisation.

Media Convener of the Party
The BJP has appointed Anil Baluni as the media convener. In addition to him, three more people have been appointed as the media co-convener by the party.
For social media activities, Deepak Mhaskey has been appointed as the social media convener of the party. Four other people, namely, Priti Gandhi, Shivanand Dwivedi, Alok Bhatt and Arun Yadav have been appointed as social media co-convener of the party.
