National Gallery of Modern Art to organise “Spring Fiesta” 2023 to celebrate 69 years of the Museum

To commemorate the 69th anniversary of its official inauguration by Vice President Dr. S Radhakrishnan on March 29, 1954, the National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi will host its first-ever “Spring Fiesta” in 2023.

National Gallery of Modern Art in New Delhi Celebrates 69 Years with 'Spring Fiesta' Event – GK Now

The event will feature over 50 stalls set up on the museum lawns by individuals from various backgrounds who specialize in areas such as handicrafts, ceramics, indigenous art, fashion, and more. These enthusiastic participants will display and sell their wares at the event.

This unique fiesta promises to captivate its audience with a wide range of creative products available for purchase at nominal prices.

To satisfy visitors’ taste buds, there will also be food stalls available. In addition, a sketching and painting session has been planned to engage visitors and provide them with an opportunity to display their artistic skills on canvas.

To add some excitement, a 3-D mapping projection on the art treasures will be displayed before the event concludes. Musical and performance acts by traditional and contemporary artists will also be a highlight of the event. The event will conclude with a 3D projection showcasing the art treasures.
